UAB Pikasoma from 1997 is engaged in the technical supplies of ship and ship repair and construction companies: supplies anchors, anchor chains, mooring ropes, steel ropes, zinc anodes, reinforced plastic grates and valves for all ship pipeline systems. The company manufactures rods for steel ropes and other steel wire products. The production is certified and complies with the standards ISO 9001:2015. The conformity of the company is also certified by the classification companies GL-DNV and RMRS. Certificates of the above classification companies are issued for products at the customer’s request. Replacement of fibreglass gratings for the Nord Guardian, a ship owned by NORDEN A/S
NORDEN A/S owns and controls one of the largest and most competitive fleets in Europe. For this project, UAB Pikasoma supplied a new product – fibreglass phenolic gratings certified by the US Coast Guard. The fibreglass gratings were manufactured based on the provided drawings and delivered to Houston (USA).
New dry dock within the Monaco development project
In 2017, UAB Pikasoma supplied a complete maritime towing system for the construction of the new dock (NB56), which was built in Gdynia (Poland). The construction was supervised by DNV-GL. The dock is used within the Monaco development project (the area of Monaco will be increased by 6 ha).
